Live-in Care
Why choose live-in care?

There may come a time when you or someone close to you will be unable to remain living at home without some support or assistance.

You may not be ready to give up your normal lifestyle and independence and this can be a challenging and difficult time for you and your family.

We at Roberts Care Agency are able to provide you with several options, enabling you to continue living in your familiar surroundings.

Domiciliary Care
What is domiciliary care?

Domiciliary care is shorter visits, usually on a daily basis. This involves having someone come into your home to help with personal care, which you (or someone close to you) might be finding difficult to manage.

Support Staff
Who do we supply to?

We also supply experienced carers and support workers to Nursing Homes, Residential Homes and Hospitals.

What does our staff do?

  • Our staff will provide Personal care including washing/bathing, dressing/undressing, continence care, and medication assistance and meal preparation.
  • Domestic support including light housework, shopping, laundry and feeding of pets.
  • Social care including assisting with maintaining social contact and attending appointments.
  • Nutritional care including menu planning and managing food hygiene.

How we arrange your care?

Before placing a carer we will spend time with you assessing your needs and requirements.

This will enable us to put together your care plan (looking at your mobility, transfers and equipment required etc.), carry out a risk assessment to ensure that our staff are going into a safe working environment and also gives us the chance to get to know you better which helps us to choose a compatible care worker for you.

We will liaise and work with any family members, representatives and health care professionals involved in your care to ensure that our service to you runs smoothly.

We put together a comprehensive care plan and risk assessment and regularly review your needs.

We monitor our carers, including telephone monitoring and supervision checks, to ensure that standards are met.
